Mount Diablo
Domenica mattina il risveglio e` stato piuttosto triste: avevamo organizzato una gita a Point Reyes, sull`oceano, ma il tempo era davvero contrario al programma ed allora siamo andati piu` in alto delle nuvole... sul Mount Diablo!
On Sunday morning waking up has been quite sad: we had organized a trip to Point Reyes, on the ocean, but the weather wasn`t nice, so we decided to go high beyond the clouds on Mount Diablo!
Mount Diablo ha la vista piu` ampia di tutti gli Stati Uniti, si narra solo seconda al Kilimangiaro, ma questo e` tutto cio` che abbiamo potuto ammirare...
Mount Diablo is supposed to have one the largest viewsheds of the US (second in the world after the Kilimangiaro), but this is all we could see...
Abbiamo camminato per 4 ore su e giu` per la montagna, a volte letteralmente nelle nuvole, a volte sopra.
We have been walking up and down the mountain for 4 hours, sometimes we were literally in the clouds, sometimes above.
Questa sono io che non ho potuto resistere al richiamo della foresta!

Ebbene si, c`erano tarantole ovunque! Sembra che sia la stagione degli amori e i maschi vanno a spasso a cercare le femmine! Attraversano la strada ignari, abbiamo dovuto zig-zagare per non sterminarli!

Matcha-Man
Sabato pomeriggio abbiamo sentito la mancanza del Giappone ed allora siamo andati a S. Francisco, nel quartiere giapponese a prendere qualche mochi ed una volta a casa... Matcha per tutti!
Saturday afternoon we felt nostalgic for our days in Japan, so we went to San Francisco to visit Japan town and to get some mochi and once at home we had Matcha!
