Alessandro was born the 29th of April at 8:23am. A funny characteristic of Ale`s embryonic life was the amazing development of his umbilical cord: his entire body was wrapped with one loop of the cord, and his neck had three loops! The doctor said it was remarkable, very very long! He also said that he must have been very active in the womb to get all those loops, confirming what I have always thought: he moved, kicked and somersaulted a lot!
His weight was 3.440kg (7.9lb) and he was 53.3cm (21') tall(what a lanky fellow!)
Alessandro e` nato il 29 Aprile alle 8:23 del mattino. Una caratteristica interessante della sua vita embrionale e` stato lo straordinario sviluppo del suo cordone ombelicale. Era tanto lungo che gli avvolgeva eil corpo e poi girava tre volte intorno al suo collo. Anche il dottore ne era sbalordito e ha confermato cio` che ho sempre sospettato durante la gravidanza: il diavoletto era tanto attivo e scalciava, si girava e spingeva un sacco!
Il suo peso era di 3.440kg e la sua altezza 53cm (bravo spilungone!)

This is the very first pic I took of him. When the shutter clicked he got scared so I told him that it would be better for him to get used to it as it will be the soundtrack of his childhood!
Questa e` la prima foto che gli ho scattato. Quando la macchina ha fatto click lui si e` spaventato! Io gli ho prontamente detto che avrebbe fatto meglio ad abituarsi a questo rumore visto che sara` la colonna sonora della sua infanzia.
